At Gaylords you have three choices. You can have your floor installed by one of the installers from our list, use our equipment and install the floor yourself or use our new "Gaylord Install".

We have equipment available for the do-it-yourself install. We will show you how the equipment works when you pick it up. You go away with the staples or nails and wax paper, go home, plug in the compressor and you're in business. Before laying the floor visit our Installation instructions in the Information section. If you wish to deal directly with an installer we will provide you with a list of independent installer names. Most of the installers can do ceramic tile as well as the mouldings and trim. All arrangements are between you and the installer. We do not warranty the labour if you choose this option.

Our third option is the "Gaylord Install". We make all the arrangements. The installer will visit the site to measure and see the details of the job. The price of the basic installation is $2.99 per square foot. This does not include the removal of carpet, preparing the sub floor, removing and reinstalling baseboard and trims. Prices to do patterns, inlays, and stairs can be given on request. Any extras will be discussed with the customer prior to starting the job. We warranty the installation as well as the flooring if you have the "Gaylord Install".



Gaylord Forest Products Ltd. takes the lead once again. We were able to arrange for the National Hardwood Flooring Association (N.W.F.A.) from St. Louis, Missouri to conduct two certification sessions in Tweed on February 28 and March 1, 2006. Usually this course is offered in St. Louis. We also invited our installers as well as our sales staff to take advantage of this great opportunity.



Certification by N.W.F.A. guarantees that the individual has met the highest standards as an installer of Hardwood Flooring.
